Orbach Studio is the trade name of The Chat Widget LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, run by Jacob Orbach in Tel Aviv. This page says what this website and my client work do with personal data, in plain terms. Questions go to jacoborbach96@gmail.com.

This website

• No tracking cookies. The site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or cross-site tracking.
• Hosting logs. The site is served by Vercel, which processes your IP address and request details in server logs to deliver the pages and keep the service secure. Vercel's own policy is at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• The chat on the home page is a demonstration. It runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type there is sent anywhere or stored.
• The payment demo is a demonstration. No card data is collected and nothing is charged.
• Live chat on the care pages. The WordPress care pages include GhostChat, my own live-chat product, so you can ask questions. What you type there is sent to GhostChat's servers, operated by The Chat Widget LLC, so I can read and answer it. GhostChat's privacy policy is at ghostchat.dev/privacy.
• Email. If you email me, I keep the correspondence for as long as it takes to deal with your request and afterwards as a business record.

Client work

• Access. For care plans and builds I receive logins to your site, hosting and related accounts. They are stored in a password manager, used only for the agreed work, and I ask you to revoke them when the engagement ends.
• Backups. Backups are kept in your own accounts or in storage you control wherever possible, so you keep them if we part ways.
• Your users' data. When I work on your site I may see personal data of your customers or visitors. I treat it as confidential, use it only to do the work, and do not copy it beyond what the work needs. For clients who need one, a written data-processing agreement is part of the service agreement.
• Payments. Invoices and card payments are handled by Stripe. I never see full card numbers. Stripe's policy is at stripe.com/privacy.

Your rights

You can ask what personal data I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its use. Residents of the European Union, the United Kingdom, Israel and California have specific rights under their laws, including the GDPR, Israel's Protection of Privacy Law and the CCPA. Email jacoborbach96@gmail.com and I will answer within a business day. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything material gets a note here for a month.
